KTR are pleased to welcome our new General Manager Graeme Trewella, Technical Support and IT Specialist Zach Richards, and Rigger Cameron Kane to the team.
Graeme began with KTR on the 3rd of September 2014. He brings with him a background from the Energy space and in electrical engineering his experience from working on projects around the world should no doubt be an asset to KTRs Management.
In detail, Graeme has worked as an Electrical Overhead Supervisor/ Manager for Thiess services for the last 10 years. During this time he was responsible for many major projects in and around the Brisbane area.
While at Thiess Graeme was seconded by Silcar to work as the National Aerial Construction SME on the JV NBN Project. In this position, he was responsible for overseeing the first aerial construction of the New South Wales National Broadband Network.
In his current capacity Graeme will recruit and manage staff, liaise with clients, and oversee projects. Graeme will set turnover and profit targets, implement policies and procedures to achieve them, and be responsible for the day to day running of the business.
Zach Richards graduates with in KTR having now completed his Certificate lll as an intermediate rigger on the 3rd of September 2014. He has achieved tickets along the way in elevated platform work, dogman, and the operation of a fork lift which will be welcomed in the stores .Zach has also become one of our first team members to undertake and complete a Ribbon Fibre splicing and Jointing course to join our fibre capabilities division
Zach joined KTR to further develop his on the job technical skills before going into university in 2015 his support and IT specializing is an asset to the field members and will be missed when he leaves. He is currently responsible for all software issues, business invoicing, inventory of all cars, tracking equipment and warehouse stock, he assists in monitoring incoming and outgoing in day to day operations .
Zach is also a keen climber ready to work in the field when necessary. He is qualified to test and tag all electrical components within the KTR business.
Cameron Kane began his rigging traineeship with KTR on the 1st of July 2013. During this time Cam has shown himself to be diligent, reliable, honest and hard-working. He has worked on the Silcar/ Thiess and Optus reactive faults project as a call out operative; and has shown he is an asset to any team when required to achieve successful outcomes.
